C3KidZ MINISTRIES
Kids are precious to us!
Our mission is to support and encourage parents each week by teaching the children about God’s love. We want to demonstrate God’s unconditional love for each child and teach them about serving others in our community.

Here is what Cross Community Church has in store for your children!
Nursery | 0 to 1 1/2 Years | Pat and Morgan
We believe that children of this age learn the most about Jesus through the love and care they experience from trusted adults. Children learn simple truths primarily through play, stories and music. The children in this room will receive regular diaper checks/changes, take naps when needed and will be fed as per their parents requests. |
2 to 4 Year Olds and Kindergarten | Cristina, Karna, and James
For this age group, our desire is to continue to have the children grow deeper in their love and understanding of God and to start putting what they learn into action. The children in this room have time to build relationships with one another. While they interact with each other they are learning how to treat others the way God would want us to treat one another through gentle guidance and modeling of their teachers. Next, the children have the opportunity to hear a story from the Bible, ask questions about the story, and retell the story in their own words. The children will then sing a few songs before going over to the table to do an activity sheet that goes along with the story. The Sunday School hour ends with them praying, having snack and taking a bathroom break. These children will be taken across the hall to Mrs. Nancy for the church hour, without any need for the parents to help make the transition. |
Grade School Ministries
1st-3rd | Laura, Miranda, and Sheila 4th-5th | Jen and Liz Our goal for these children is to both have fun and be spiritually challenged. By the sixth grade, children will have reviewed the major stories and themes of the Bible multiple times and at multiple levels, in many interactive ways. Children will have had practice praying in a group setting on a regular basis. These children will have a full understanding of what it means to Love, Learn, and Live the way Jesus wants us to and will have had many opportunities to put this into practice at church, at home and in their communities. |
