The church board expects to receive an updated list of pastoral candidates from District Superintendent, Pastor Brad Dyrness, soon. Once we have that we will begin to look at the candidates' resumes and decide which ones to invite for meet and greets.
Please continue to use the Perpetual Daily Scripture Prayer Calendar as you pray with us for the Lord to bring the right person to pastor Cross Community Church. “Then I will give you shepherds after my own heart, who will lead you with knowledge and understanding.” Jeremiah 3:15 The church board had a productive meeting last Sunday afternoon. We reviewed the pastoral survey once
again and refined the list of qualities we are looking for in a new pastor. Thank you for all your prayers for us. We are contacting our District Superintendent, Pastor Brad Dyrness, for a further list of pastoral candidates for Cross Community Church. Please continue to pray with us for the Lord’s guidance. We are seeking God’s wisdom in choosing our next pastor. “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.” I John 5:14 The church board meets today to refine our search process for the next pastor of Cross Community Church. We have been spending much time in prayer about this. We need you to pray for us as well. Please pray for God’s direction, especially that He will make it clear to us what specific qualities our church needs in our next pastor. Pray that He will speak to each of us individually in such a way that there is no doubt that He has brought us into agreement.
